Heritage Day

Today was fun & great :) It was Heritage Day at my school.. Different grades took a story from the Bible & made a skit out of it. So all the grades had to perform in front of everyone's familes.. & Everyone did great :) I was narrator 2 & my friend Felicia was narrator 1. I was very nervous when I got up there =/ lol. But it turned out great. Also, the spanish classes had to sing "De Colores" & I was nervous for that too.. I messed up a little, but it still turned out great. Heritage singers & the seniors I think sang songs too :) I also liked 10th & 11th grade's skits.. it was funny. After the skits & singing was done, Dr. John preached.. & after his preaching we prayed then went to get food. The food was good.. different foods from different cultures :) I brought pancit & lumpia shanghai.. haha.

After the food, us high schoolers went on a scavenger hunt. When we started, we were missing part of our group.. me, mariah, & yahaira was like.. "Where's our group?" So then they were doing something else so we just went on.. the scavenger hunt was kinda hard so we didn't wanna do it anymore. lol. So the seniors announce the answers and stuff.. and they said the winner was group 1.. I was like wahhh i'm in group 1. So yeah we accidently got split up & they didn't know we were part of group 1.. haha faillll. Affffter that, it was the water balloon toss & then... the water fight! So intense. Everyone threw water balloons at each other and people got buckets and trash cans and arizona iced tea bottles and water guns... ahaha. It was crazy.. everyone got soaking wet. Mickey poured pink lemonade on me -___- lol. I was like the first victim of TJ. He aimed for me first to throw the water balloon. hehe. But yeah the water fight lasted for a long time. Tamra threw a cup of water at me and she was like.. "Welcome to CBA" hahaha. I think she got some water in my ear.. my ear is all weird now =/

It has been...

SO HOT... the past few days -_- This weather makes me lazy too... ugh. I'm not really ready for summer weather. Not just yet.. haha.

Hrmmm, I got my retainers today.. I kinda talk funny but just a little bit. Haha it's weird :)

Past 3 days of new school..

It's been great! I love it :) Love the other students & teachers.. they're nice & welcoming.

Oh today I played Dr. John 1 on 1 in basketball.. haha =] I think it was a tie? haha it was good game.. :D

My first day at my new school...

My first day at Christbridge Academy was great! :) I was so nervous but everyone was so welcoming.. it was nice =] This week was supposed to be my spring break but it was cut short because they just started their last quarter on monday so they didn't want me to be behind. So they told me to start now.. & I really didn't say goodbye to my other friends.. but i'll visit so yup. An 11th grader showed me where everything was.. her name is Francis. I knew where everything was quickly because it's not that big.. haha. I like it though, like about 10 people & 1 teacher per class.. The teachers are so nice. I just like this Christian School better than my other high school. 30 min. going there & going back home.. I think it's worth it :) I know that God will help me on my journey at this school :)

Classes I'm taking:
Alg. 1 with Mrs. Rene. She's very nice!
Personal Values (Bible Class) with Mr. Dan. He's very nice too :)
Physical Science with Mrs. Rene again.
English with Mrs. Fitch.. she's really chill! :)
Spanish 1 with Senor Carlos.. he's chill too. love it :)
Computer class with Mr. Greene. he's awesome as well :)
& P.E. with all the students from other grades. We don't have P.E. until like 2 weeks or so because we're practicing for Heritage Day. And I need to buy a skirt for Spanish because we're going to be singing & dancing at Heritage day on Sat. April 25th.
So yup, I had a great first day! :)


AND... I'm so excited because i'm taking my braces off on Friday! yayyyyyyyy!

So tomorrow,

I have an ortho appointment(finally!) & an appointment for a tour at the Christian school I will be attending...

Hopefully I might take my braces off tomorrow! gahhhhhh i'm going crazy. lol
